The Snow Storm Strut

about

A Northern interpretation of a famous Texas Blues song about bad flooding - what about being buried in snow? Although its hard to have the blues when you're curled up by the fire together!

Heavily inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood, Joe Bonamassa Blues Deluxe, Neil Schon and Beth Hart I Wanna Know You. The Snow Storm Strut is a powerful slow blues ballad, the way we do it in Maine!

lyrics

I got caught in a snow storm, the winter weathers been falling down.
Got caught in a snow storm, the winter weathers been falling down.
All the roads are covered, I can't even get to town.

White-out conditions, the winter air is getting cold.
White-out conditions, that winter air is getting so cold.
Fighting through the snow banks makes me feel like I'm growing old.

Let's huddle by the fire now, and try to make it through the storm.
Let's huddle by the fire now, and try to make it through that storm.
Don't you worry about it darling, if you get cold, I'll keep you warm.

Let's huddle by the fire now, and try to make it through the storm.
Let's huddle by the fire now, and try to make it through that storm.
Don't you worry about it darling, if you get cold, I'll keep you warm.
